DGA Honors Minority and Women Student Filmmakers (released Sunday, December 2, 2007) By greenroomwire The Directors Guild of America has announced the winners of the Student Film Awards for African-American, Asian-American, Latino and women filmmakers. Students were judged by location (East Coast and West Coast) and category with honorable mentions. The East Coast award-winning films will be screened and the awards presented on Thursday, December 6, 2007 at 7:30 p.m., in the DGA Theatre at DGA Headquarters at 110 West 57th Street in New York.
