Development concepts are now being accepted to transform the historic Brooklyn Navy Yard into a thriving media and entertainment campus. The Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation is looking to fill the proposed campus with media, film, television, entertainment companies, writers, producers, post production and media related office tenants. There is particular interest in proposals that include a graduate-level educational component.
The site will be housed on the eastern edge of the Yard boasting historic architecture, 20 acres of park like grounds, abundant fields for back lot and outdoor shooting opportunities as well as close proximity to Manhattan and downtown Brooklyn.
