The Philip K. Dick Film Festival was postponed from this spring. It was also originally scheduled to take place at the Museum of the Moving Image.
This year, the PKD Film Festival is running Friday, September 17 through Sunday, September 19. Friday and Saturday screenings will be held at the Producers Club in Midtown and Sunday's screenings will be online.
Philip K. Dick's writings have influenced many films and television shows including Blade Runner, Total Recall, Minority Report, and The Man in the High Castle. This year's festival will have 6 features and 95 shorts along with screenplay and graphic novel entries as well as 3 VR demonstrations. The festival opens with the world premiere of Noah Mucci's Lunamancer starring Nicki Clyne (Battlestar Galactica) on Friday at 6 pm.
