Made in NY Post-Production information sessions are happening this month of August in preparation for the next cycle of classes beginning September 12th that runs through October 24th. The information session is where you can meet program staff to learn about the program and fill out the application to enter the next cycle. The cycle dates are subject to change given the Covid-19 crisis.
The following info session dates are available to find out more about how to enter post production work in the film and television industries:

The "Made in NY" Post Production Training Program prepares low-income, unemployed and under employed New Yorkers for entry level opportunities in the post production industry. The program provides soft skills, technical training in industry standard software, career guidance and placement support to trainees for two years as they establish their careers.
The program is a partnership with the New York City Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment and NYC Small Business Services. The free course is six weeks, Monday through Friday training from 9am-5pm. The training takes place remotely via Zoom.
