The 9th Annual Greenwich Village Film Festival will be November 6th, 7th, and 8th. Each evening, screenings will take place 7:00pm-9:30pm at the Quad Cinema. The Quad is located at 34 W 13th Street. Screenings will be followed by a Q and A session with filmmakers. Each night the after party will be held at the Quad Bar.
The Award Ceremony will be November 8th at Quad Cinema after the screenings. The Awards to be presented are: Best Short Film, Best Short Documentary, Best Animation Short, Best Performance in a Lead Role, Best Performance in a Supporting Role, Best Director. Each winner will receive a GOLDEN ARCH AWARD. Each award is a handcrafted sculpture by Japanese artist resident in New York City Hana Sakamoto. The award design is inspired, like the festival's logo, by the iconic Washington Square Arch in Washington Square Park.
