Brooklyn Girl Film Festival will be held this weekend March 28-30, 2013. Two workshops are on the schedule and are free to participate. The first will be held Friday night at 6:30p.m. and the second will be held Saturday afternoon at 1:30p.m. Both events will be housed at the Launchpad in Brooklyn.
Friday night's workshop will feature Caitlin Boyle, Founder and President of Film Sprout. Boyle will be covering How to use grassroots distribution to build an audience, revenue and social change through Film. On Saturday afternoon, Anna Elizabeth James will discuss "The Studio in Your Pocket" Making film using the IPhone.
The LAUNCHPAD in Brooklyn is a community-focused, artist gathering place and will be the venue for the festival located @ 721 Franklin Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11238.
