Elton John: Never Too Late is a documentary that looks back on his life and 50-year career. Elton John is preparing for his final concert in North America at Dodger Stadium and takes us back in time to recount the highs and heartbreaking lows of his early years. Elton John overcame adversity, abuse and addiction to become the icon we know him to be today.
The film screened at the New York Film Festival on Tuesday, October 1, 2024. The film is directed by R.J. Cutler and David Furnish. David Furnish is Elton John's husband adding to the intimate portrait of the musician. The film was introduced by directors R.J. Cutler and David Furnish and the audience was treated to a personal performance of Tiny Dancer by the musician Elton John following the screening.
The film is set for limited theatrical release November 15th in the U.S. and U.K. On December 13, the film will premiere on Disney+.
