The Bushwick Film Festival returns for its 17th annual run on October 16-20, 2024. This year's theme, "Producing The Dream" exploring what it takes to realize a dream and celebrate the artistry and effort filmmakers put into the work to share their stories. The festival will open with a pink carpet and Johnnie Walker cocktails to welcome over a hundred Brooklyn and beyond filmmakers.
The festival plans to host special events such an industry luncheon, comedy night, screenplay reading and live performances of film scores. The awards night and reception will present categories including Best Feature, Best Short, Best Screenplay, Audience Choice, and more. The festival will close on Sunday, October 20th with a showcase of award-winning films.
The festival was also proud to announce Netflix as a sponsor for the opening night event.
