The Brooklyn Horror Film Festival starts Thursday the 17th and runs through October 24th. The festival will hold its screenings at both Nitehawk Cinema locations.
The opening film is Dead Mail and will include a Q&A with Co-Directors Joe DeBoer and Kyle McConaghy. The film starts at 8:30pm and will be at the Prospect Park location. Dead Mail is about a blood-stained note that arrives at a post office, leading its the mail clerk and others down a path to find its origins.
Of course, the festival is filled with plenty of horror films. For something different, check out Final Exam Horror Trivia hosted by filmmaker and publicist Ted Geoghegan. It will take place at Radegast Biergarten on Wednesday, October 23rd at 7pm.
