The New York Television Festival and Fox Broadcasting Company have partnered for the 6th annual FOX-NYTVF Comedy Script Contest. Today, they announced the 25 finalists. The contest winner will be revealed on October 26, 2013 at the NYTVF Awards ceremony. A development deal with FOX and $25,000 is the anticipated outcome for the final script selected.
All 25 selected finalists still in competition are invited to the 9th annual New York Television Festival and are given the credential of Official Artist. This status affords finalists exclusive access to the NYTVF Connect that partners development executives with creatives, opening doors to one on one meetings, pitch opportunities, and insight into current TV industry trends from the mouths of television content decision makers. Below is the list of the 25 finalists in the FOX-NYTVF Comedy Script Contest as stated on http://nytvf.com/newsletter/newsletter2013-8-22.html.
