Sparrow Film Project 11 Winners and Gala

On June 5, 2014, the Museum of Moving Image had a line down the block for the Sparrow Film Project 11 Gala. Guests were greeted by a champagne reception, live music, and a toast to the Astoria film community by Rudy Mungaray. Rudy is a SFP curator and committee member.
SFP producer Mike Freeland welcomed guests into the Sumner M. Redstone Theater. He noted the expansion of the submission base reaching outside of the United States all the way to London for the first time.
Hosted by Adam Bagy, the awards ceremony followed the screenings with entertaining intermissions of music, food, and libations.
The Judges: Nicolas Levis (Brand Cinema), Tori Palmetier (RSA Films), and Matthew Boccaccio (Writer/DP/Editor) collectively chose the following winners along with the audience who participated in the selection of the Audience Award.

Audience Award - Beowoof by Team DigiRanch
The night concluded with car service to the SingleCut Beersmiths for a festival friendly beer menu and afterparty that left a pleasant experience in your mouth.
