NYFF Looking for Aspiring Film Critics

The 52nd New York Film Festival, which runs September 26 through October 12, is calling on aspiring film critics to take part in its third Critics Academy. The application deadline is Friday, August 22.
The academy is run by the Film Society of Lincoln Center, Indiewire, SnagFilms (Indiewire's parent company), and Film Comment magazine. Six people will be chosen to participate.
Applicants must be from New York City. They must also have three years of undergraduate study or no more than two years of experience creating critical and/or journalistic content about movies. Must speak and write fluently in English.
