The next iteration of the Dexter franchise, Dexter: Resurrection, was seen filming on the Upper West Side of Manhattan on Thursday, April 17, 2025. Taking up a block with production equipment in the high eighties, holding was at the church on Amsterdam and 86th and production trailers running north on Amsterdam. Filming when we went by set was taking place inside a brownstone. Dexter: Resurrection has been filming throughout the city and also up in Yonkers.

Dexter is a Paramount+ production and will air on Showtime. It is expected to come out in June of this year. Resurrection follows Dexter: New Blood, which was a limited series from 2021-2022.
