There will be an outdoor screening of "God Said Give 'Em Drum Machines" on the Plaza at the Adam Clayton Powell Jr State Office Building in Harlem on Wednesday, August 27th.
The even starts at 6pm with music by DJ Spivey of the Magnificent 7 followed by the movie starting around 7pm. This event is free and being put on by ImageNation, the Hip-Hop Education Center, and the Maysles Documentary Center.

This documentary directed by Kristian Hill tells the story of Detroit's contributions to world culture: Techno, the electronic music phenomenon created by 1980s black artists that transformed dance music and blossomed into the multi-billion dollar EDM industry.
