On September 29th, IFC Center will have a special screening of the horror classic THE OMEN (1976, Richard Donner) at 7p.m. The film has an American ambassador to Britain convinced that his 5-year-old son is actually the Anti-Christ.

Following the screening, a conversation and signing with film scholar Dr. Eleanor Johnson will take place.

Eleanor has a new book SCREAM WITH ME exploring the ways genre filmmaking exposes and critiques issues of reproductive control, domestic violence, and patriarchal oppression, exposing the fears and realities of women's lives.
