2026 OSCAR™ nominated short films will start to screen this weekend at IFC. The Independent Film Center will have a sneak peek with Animated Oscar-Nominated Shorts 2026 screening at 6:30pm and Live-Action Oscar-Nominated Shorts 2026 screening at 8:40pm on Thursday, February 19th.

The Oscar Nominated Shorts will be in theaters Friday, February 20, 2026. The feature length screening programs will be dedicated to Academy Award® Short Film categories: Animated, Documentary, and Live Action.
