New York State Independent Film Production Tax Credit Program is currently accepting applications. Pending availability of funds, the deadline to submit an application is April 30, 2026 at 4PM.

The Tax credits are for productions that will begin principal photography in the next 180 days from submitting application. Pool 1 will be for productions with total qualified costs $10 million or less. Pool 2 is for productions with total qualified costs more than $10 million.

There will also be another brief window for applications that will open July 13-16, 2026.
