Edward Burns entered the indie film scene with The Brothers McMullen back in the mid-90s and blew up as Brooklynite, BAR-slingin' Private Reiben in Saving Private Ryan. Trying to connect with his father in real life, Burns started playing golf. That transformed into his latest script, Finnegan's Foursome.

"This comedy sees two Irish American brothers and their children, all highly competitive golfers, returning to their ancestral homeland to hit the links in honor of their late father who taught them the game."

Finnegan's Foursome had its world premiere on Sunday, June 7th at the Borough of Manhattan Community College Tribeca Performing Arts Center during the Tribeca Festival. There is a screening on Saturday, June 13 at Village East. https://tribecafilm.com
