UNISPHERE FILM FESTIVAL is at Court Square Theater, 44-02 23rd Street, Long Island City. There will be a week of films from July 6-12, 2026. The program has blocks of films daily, sometimes two a day. July 6th will start with an evening block of films from 7-8pm titled Queens born, made and raised. The films in this block are made by filmmakers born, raised, based, or shot in the borough.
"Unisphere Film Festival is a non-profit run by local filmmakers highlighting the next generation of filmmakers celebrating the strong diversity of Queens from the art of filmmaking to its history and the evolution of storytelling."
On July 7th, you can watch FIGHTING the PAIN, a block of films whether physical, emotional or psychological stories of struggles, human spirit, endurance, healing, adversity and the rise above it and the resilience to confront.
Other blocks include New York Stories, Saving the World, Love of Cinema, Love of the Game, Paths Traveled, Love for One, Love for All.
