6th NYC Independent Film Festival Runs Oct 12-18

The NYC Independent Film Festival, now in its sixth year, runs October 12-18. There will be over 300 films from around the globe as well as panels, seminars, and networking events.
There are seminars and panels on distribution, directing, acting, writing, financing, cinematography, and more. On October 17, there is a seminar Women in Film: Diversity, Relationships and Growth. Natalie Gee will lead a discussion on diversity in the industry with Alex Cirillo of Big Vision Empty Wallet, Leah Meyerhoff of Film Fatales, Terry Lawler of New York Women in Film & TV, and Hye Hun Park of Hey Yun.
