Tony Award Nominations Announced

Tony Awards nominations were announced May 3 on CBS. The awards will be live in New York City at the Beacon Theater and will be broadcast on CBS on Sunday, June 12 from 8:00 p.m. till 11:00p.m. James Corden will host the Tony Awards for the first time. This year will mark the 70th anniversary of the TONY Awards Show that was first held April 6, 1947 in the Waldorf Astoria Grand Ballroom. The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing founded the Tony Awards and present the show annually.
