Next IndieWorks is February 13 (released Sunday, January 21, 2018) By Kimberly Burke The next IndieWorks short film screening will take place February 13, 2018 at The Local NYC in Long Island City. The event gives a platform for filmmakers to show their work to an audience on a big screen and get feedback from the audience with built in Q and A sessions at intermission and after the second set of screenings. The evening is free to attend and supporting the host venue with a two drink minimum is recommended, but not enforced. The gathering starts with doors at 6:30p.m. and screenings beginning at 7:30p.m. The showcase of films lasts roughly 2 hours including intermission. All who come to see the films are encouraged to network and mingle with the filmmakers before and after the presentation. The Local is located at 13-02 44th Avenue, Long Island City.
