Be a part of the NY Music Month of June by taking a walk through South Bronx and learn musical performers who lived and worked in the area, dance clubs, theaters and social clubs where the music scene grew and the community organizations that improved the neighborhood. See current street life and public art on this tour provided by the NYC Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment. To join the tour, meet at Hunts Point Avenue stop on the 6 Train outside the station. Hunts Point Avenue and Bruckner Boulevard, Bronx NY. The 1pm tour will be held June 16 and June 30. The tour will be guided by folklorist Elena Martinez who will explore the Hunts Point/Longwood lore.
