New York WIFT Talks This Week

New York Women in Film and Television (NYWIFT) is hosting two upcoming NYWIFT TALKS in July. Both events will be free virtual programs. You are encouraged to register for the events, download Zoom in advance and access information will be emailed out to you on the day of the event.
The first event is July 13 discussing the new documentary MUCHO MUCHO AMOR about famed astrologer psychic Walter Mercado. Co-directors Cristina Costantini and Kareem Tabsch will be in conversation moderated by NYWIFT Board Member Zenaida Mendez. The documentary premiered July 8 on Netflix. The second free to attend NYWIFT TALK event will be held on July 15. Director Gina Prince-Bythewood and editor Terilyn Shropshire plan discuss their latest film THE OLD GUARD. The film is set to release on Netflix July 10. The film is a gritty action film with Charlize Theron as the lead warrior Andy. The conversation with director and editor will be moderated by NYWIFT Board Member Gretchen McGowan.
