NewFilmmakers Highlights Digital Film Academy

The NewFilmmakers New York is holding its next screening on Wednesday, July 30th. The show begins with a presentation by Third World Newsreel at 6pm.
This is followed by a middle act of film school projects by students at the Digital Film Academy. These are The Dawn by Sara McDermott Jain, The Potluck by Pauline Gefin, Revenge at Heart by Zelle Jones, and Thousand Sonnets of the Sun by Lucas Oliveira.
The feature presentation is a double billing of Grace McLeod's Under the Table (19 minutes) and Annika Kurnick's Gasp (90 minutes).
NewFilmmakers screens weekly at Anthology Film Archives at 32 Second Avenue in the East Village. Tickets are $10 and doors open 30 minutes prior to screenings.
