Juice 25th Anniversary Screening at Schomburg Ctr

Juice will screen for it's 25th Anniversary on Friday, July 7th at the Schomburg Center Harlem. The 1992 film stars Omar Epps and was the debut of Tupac Shakur as an actor, Jermaine "Huggy" Hopkins, Khalil Kain, and Samuel L. Jackson. To commemorate the anniversary, the film screening will be followed by a Talk Back with Fab 5 Freddy moderating. The Talk Back will be streamed live from 8:15p.m.-9:05p.m. on Livestream.

The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture is a branch of the New York Public Library. The collection was begun with Arturo Alfonso Schomburg 92 years ago. Today, the three building collective is now known as a leader in the focus of African American, African Diaspora, and the African Experience. In 2017, the National Park Services deemed the center a National Historic Landmark. The collection is divided into five categories, one being moving image and recorded sound. Juice lives in this category.
