Brooklyn Film Festival Runs June 1st to 10th

THRESHOLD: The 21st edition of the Brooklyn Film Festival starts June 1st and runs till the 10th of the month. The opening night will return to the festival's anchor venue, the Wythe Hotel in Williamsburg. A selection of short documentaries from The New York Times Times Documentaries will screen with a mix of animation and experimental story telling.  Executive Director of the festival Marco Ursino and Times writer Melena Ryzik will participate in a Q&A with audience members following the opening night films.

Another event worth checking out is the BFF Exchange held at Kickstarter.  It is a nearly day long event aimed at bringing filmmakers and film distributors together through a pitch session, panels, and a happy hour.
