Pose was filming Season 2 on the Upper West Side on Wednesday, July 3, 2019 at the Metro Diner. The crew was capturing a scene from inside the diner. Outside, the street was lined with 1980's vehicles and extras walking the sidewalks to give texture and authenticity to the frame. Pray Tell played by Billy Porter was seen pausing in the fresh air between takes in a chair positioned just outside the diner.

Pose is a top rated show on the FX Network. The story of life in a society that does not accept you as gay, lesbian, trans, bi, or however you identify. This is 1980's New York. The cast is inclusive with many trans, gay, self identifying actors, who bring to life the underground ball culture of NewYork.

Season 1 premiered in June 2018 and Season 2 premiered in June 2019. The network also ordered Season 3 this June. The show was nominated for 2018 Gotham Independent Film Awards and won American Film Institute Awards. In 2019, it garnered nominations for Golden Globes, Writers Guild, Critics Choice Television Awards, MTV Movies and TV Awards and won Dorian Awards, GLADD Awards for Media, Peabody Awards, and Television Academy Honors.
