The NAB Show New York is here. It runs October 20-22 at the Javits Center in midtown Manhattan.
NAB show is a great way to keep up with trends in television broadcasting and to an extent, radio broadcasting and internet video streaming. There are talks from leaders in the field and there is a large showroom with vendors showing off the latest in equipment.
You can go just to check out the showroom of equipment for $100 or you can opt for conference packages in the neighborhood of $7-800. There's also an SMPTE Bootcamp where you can learn how about video transmission over the internet for $500.
The Javits is located at 429 11th Avenue in Manhattan.
