Viggo Mortensen will attend the Snowtown Film Festival on January 27 opening the festival with his film Captain Fantastic. The Snowtown Film Festival will be in downtown Watertown, NY on January 27 and 28, 2017. The festival celebrates winter and Northern NY through film.

7th Annual Queens World Film Festival will be March 14-19, 2017. Help make the festival a success at the Astor Room on January 13th. The festival kick off party begins at 7pm. The Astor Room is located at 35-11 35th Avenue, Astoria, NY 11106.

The Bronx International Film Festival will run January 26-31, 2017.  The Studio Theater located next to Lovinger Theater at 250 Bedford Park Blvd., W Bronx, NY 10468 will be the venue for screenings. More details and schedule available here: http://bronxstage.com

Sundance is not the only place to celebrate film in the snow. The SnowTown Film Festival will be held January 27 & 28, 2017. Created as a festival that celebrates the long north New York winters through the medium of film, this cultural experience is centered in downtown Watertown, NY. The schedule includes a Friday night red carpet reception and feature film, with the second day devoted to official film selections.
