Animation Nights New York April Screening Event (released 4/16/2021) By Kimberly Burke Animation Nights New York will commence on Sunday, April 25, 2021 and RSVP's to attend open April 19th. This VR event is accessible online with no headset required.  You can explore over 6 virtual rooms and watch animated shorts films from around the world in the ANNY Virtual Events Space webXR ONLINE.  Participants 18 plus recommended. VOD will be available Sunday from 11am-11pm EST.  Mixer events to meet filmmakers and chat about animation will be 3-5pm and 8-10pm EST.  A favorite feature from the pre-Covid in-person screenings was when everyone that attended was encouraged to participate in Sketch-of-the-Month. The virtual event will include this creative input with attendees who want to sketch.
