Discovory+ held a screening of the documentary Francesco at the Elinor Bunin Munroe Film Center on Monday evening. Along with the screening was the director Evgeny Afineevsky and the main draw, filmmaker Michael Moore to conduct a Q&A session.
Francesco is a look at the current Pope. It goes into his roots of why he went into the ministry, his work in Argentina and Chile, as well as what he has done in his current role. He appears to be bringing Catholicism into the 21st century.
Afineevsky is also known for Cries from Syria and his Oscar nominated Winter on Fire: Ukraine's Fight for Freedom.
The feature doc is currently streaming on Discovery+. Below are a couple photos and a video of the Q&A from Monday evening's event.
