Late-Night Trailblazer: Amber Ruffin will be joining a Zoom conference on February 28 from 6:00p.m.-7:30p.m hosted by the Center for Communication. The talk will be moderated by Raeshem Nijhon, Founder and Executive Producer of Culture House - "a resource for films, series and multi-platform projects to engage with a range of experts across issues like race, gender, mental health and socio-economic diversity that require nuance and knowledge when being addressed through entertainment and media."
Amber Ruffin was the first black woman to write for a late-night network talk show working in the writers room for Late Night with Seth Meyers. Now, Amber has her own show, The Amber Ruffin Show, on Peacock which offers a mix of sketches and monologues on current events.
