Brooklyn filmmaker Sujewa Ekanayake is screening his latest film The Secret Society For Slow Romance on Friday, April 8th. The screening is at Stuart Cinema in Greenpoint.
The movie is described as "Two NYC filmmakers go on several dates and discover a way to end poverty worldwide."
Sujewa wrote and also acts in the movie. His co-star is Alia Lorae. Both will be at the 7:30pm screening for an intro and Q&A after the film.
Tickets for the screening are $10. Stuart Cinema is located at 79 West Street, which is just around the corner from Transmitter Park in Brooklyn.
