YOFIFEST, AKA Yonkers Film Festival, is currently open for submissions. The festival is located on the Hudson River and near NYC. The festival is housed a few blocks from the Metro North station and waterfront. This year will be the 10th annual and run from December 2-11, 2022. Audiences from Westchester, NYC, the Hudson Valley and tri-state region find this to be a film-friendly atmosphere, inclusive and welcoming.
The festival has a full schedule of panels, workshops and networking events and parties. Opening night red carpet reception, Audience Choice Awards Ceremony and more are planned for the in-person festival. Films will all screen in-person and online to allow as many to enjoy as possible.
Venues for the festival screenings include the DMAC (Digital Media Arts Center) the year round location of the festival located on Wells Avenue and the Atrium at the Library located across the street from the Metro North Station. All locations are within a few blocks walking distance in the downtown Yonkers waterfront district.
