A preview screening of soon-to-be-released documentary George Carlin's American Dream was held at IFC Center on Tuesday, May 17. The documentary about the legendary and groundbreaking comedian spans two movies or in this case, two parts.

George Carlin's American Dream will air on HBO Max.  Part 1 comes out Friday, May 20 at 8pm, while Part 2, which is what screened at IFC, comes out Saturday, May 21 at 8pm.

In addition to the preview screening itself, audiences were treated to a Q&A with directors Judd Apatow and Mike Bonfiglio as well as Kelly Carlin, George's daughter.
