Maestro tells the love story of Leonard Bernstein and Felicia Montealegre Cohn Bernstein. The story spans 30 years from the time they met at a party, through two engagements, a 25 year marriage, and three children.
The film will star Bradley Cooper who also co-wrote the script with Oscar-winning Screenwriter Josh Singer. Cooper is developing the film together with the Bernstein family. Maestro is Cooper's follow-up to his directorial debut, A Star is Born.
The film stars Bradley Cooper as Leonard Bernstein and will also include Carey Mulligan, Matt Bomer, Maya Hawke, and Sara Silverman.
