Macy's 4th of July Fireworks continues to be an annual tradition since its inception in 1976. This year will be the 46th edition conceived, designed and produced by Macy's with Pyro Spectaculars by Souza. A 25 minute spectacle synchronized to a musical score will set off an average of more than 1,900 shells and effects per minute. The display will be a mile in length along the East River reaching heights of 1,000 feet to the water's edge.
NBC's national broadcast of the Macy's 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular will be 8-10p.m. ET/PT, 7-9p.m. CT/MT. Checking your local NBC listing and you can stream on Peacock.
Spectators in NYC can get the best views in Manhattan, Queens and Brooklyn. There will be five barges expected to unload 48,000 shells and effects, positioned between E. 23rd and E. 42nd Streets on the East River.
Those viewing in NYC are encouraged to tune into the radio or streaming of 1010WINS for the live musical score. Listen to "My Country Tis of Thee" and "America the Beautiful" in the presentation.
