THE LAST MOVIE STARS Chapters 1 and 2 followed by Q&A with Ethan Hawke and Laura Linney will commence Friday, July 15, 2022 at Film Forum. (209 West Houston west of 6th Avenue). This is sold out online and a few tickets may be available day of at the box office.

This is an advanced theatrical preview of Ethan Hawke's new 6-part Max Original documentary (presented in three screenings of two chapters each) on the art and lives of Paul Newman and Joanne Woodward. The doc series premieres July 21 on HBO Max.

The first two chapters and post-film Q&A will have a running time of approximately 2 and a half hours. Tickets are also sold out for Saturday, July 16 with Vincent D'Onofrio joining Ethan Hawke for Chapters 3 and 4 and Maya Hawke will be a part of the Sunday, July 17 screening of Chapters 5 and 6.
