NYC Film Green Wants You to Rethink Power On Set

(released 8/8/2022)

NYC Film Green is an initiative of the Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment (MOME). MOME presents OFFICE HOURS a panel discussion on rethinking power for Film and TV productions.

"Burning fossil fuels is the biggest source of greenhouse gases from film productions of any size. Join us to discuss different ways to power your set with less reliance on fossil fuels and more reliance on cleaner energy options such as electric generators, tie-ins as well as creative ways of redistributing power throughout your set."

The online panel discussion will take place Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 5-7pm.

Speakers:
Kerri Coombs - Producer, FireDance Media and former gaffer
Jenny Kane - Grip, Member, IASTE Local 52

Moderator:
Jennifer Sandoval - Director of Services, Earth Angel (a consulting firm of sustainable production services)

The discussion panel is free to attend and will help you find ways to rethink and redistribute power on your sets. Register for the evening event here: zoom.us/webinar
