The Coney Island Film Festival will run September 16-18, 2022 at Sideshows by the Seashore and The Coney Island Museum. The venues are located at 1208 Surf Avenue on the ground and second floors. The festival will open with the documentary feature directed by April Wright, "Back To The Drive-in". The film explores the family owned businesses that are struggling to survive as they spend a whole night in 11 very different drive-ins in 8 states. Learn from the preparations before customers arrive, to selling tickets, concessions and getting the movie to the screen.
The weekend of programming has shorts, music videos, horror, animation, sci-fi, and experimental offerings.
