7th Brooklyn Horror Film Festival Runs Oct 13 - 20

The 7th annual Brooklyn Horror Film Festival starts Thursday evening the 13th and runs through the following Thursday, October 20th. The festival opens at Nitehawk Cinema in Prospect Park with the feature Nocebo starring Eva Green (Penny Dreadful). The film is being introduced by co-writer Ara Chawhury and happens to be sold out. The festival closes with Gaspar Noé's Irreversible: Straight Cut.

BHFF is having an eight film Lucio Fulci Retrospective including a new 4K restoration of The Beyond and a 35mm screening of City of the Living Dead (1980).

There are some locally produced short film blocks with Home Invasion 1 and Home Invasion 2 on Sunday, October 16th. The second block sold out on Sunday, so they scheduled an encore screening for Thursday, October 20th.
