Director Lizzie Gottlieb will attend a Q&A following her latest documentary Turn Every Page – The Adventures of Robert Caro and Robert Gottlieb on Wednesday, January 18th. The movie is screening at 7pm at BAM in Brooklyn.
Turn Every Page explores the 50 year relationship between author Robert Caro and his editor Robert Gottlieb. Caro wrote The Power Broker, a lengthy biography of Robert Moses. He also wrote a multi-volume biography of Lyndon B. Johnson. Caro, now 86, is currently working on the fifth and final book in the LBJ series. Gottlieb, 91, is waiting to edit it.
As may seem apparent, Lizzie Gottlieb is the daughter of Robert Gottlieb. She coerced both Roberts into their world and created this piece of art and history.
The screening takes place at the BAM Rose Cinemas inside the Peter Jay Sharp Building located at 30 Lafayette Avenue in Brooklyn.
