The 21st Annual NewFest runs June 4th through June 11th in New York at the School of Visual Arts Theater on 23rd in Chelsea and the Logo Lounge across the street.  NewFest is a Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgender film festival.

The festival opens with Mr. Right on Thursday the 4th and closes with Pop Star On Ice, a documentary about Johnny Weir, Olympic skater and three-time National Champion directed by David Barba and James Pellerito.

There will be a special presentation on Friday, June 5th.  "How Not To Make A Short Film, Secrets From a Sundance Programmer," Roberta Marie Munroe, brings her special master class in short filmmaking to New York City.
