The 81st Golden Globes Awards is taking place Sunday, January 7, 2024. The show will be broadcast on CBS live, stream on Parmount+ and be available on the CBS app as part of a new deal between the network and the Golden Globes. The 3-hour show will broadcast live from 5-8pm PT and 8-11pm ET. Produced and owned by Dick Clark Productions, the Golden Globes Awards are viewed in 185 countries around the world.
This year two new awards have been added, Cinematic and Box Office Achievement and Best Stand-Up Comedian on Television. Cedric "The Entertainer" and Wilmer Valderrama presented the nominees for the 81st Annual Golden Globes (TM) Awards on Monday December 11 on CBS Mornings on CBS. This year the Golden Globes expanded its voter base , aiming for a slate of nominees that was more global and inclusive.
