Elsbeth is a new CBS show based on the character featured in "The Good Wife" and "The Good Fight”. Carrie Preston stars as Elsbeth Tascioni, an attorney new to NYC with a singular point of view making unique observations alongside NYPD. Elsbeth left her successful legal career in Chicago to tackle a new investigative role in New York.  Captain C.W. Wagner, played by Wendell Pierce, is now a colleague and Officer Kaya Blanke, played by Carra Patterson, is who she works alongside. Officer Blanke appreciates and recognizes Elsbeth's insightful and off beat ways.

The show is currently in production in New York City and was spotted filming inside an apartment building on the Upper West Side on Monday, January 8th, 2024. On the series premiere scheduled for Thursday, February 29 at 10-11pm ET/PT on CBS and Paramount+, the story by Robert King and Michelle King has a college student found dead in a high rise apartment and an investigation that evolves to murder. Elsbeth must balance her consent decree role with the NYPD and her uncommon methods to make her case and uncover the real killer, on the series premiere.

We captured production trucks along 86th and Broadway stretched to Riverside as they shot interior scenes on the Upper West Side. They were also shooting January 4th on the Upper East Side.
