Brooklyn Bowl will be celebrating the 26th Anniversary of The Big Lebowski on March 6, 2024. Doors will open at 6p.m. for an 8p.m. screening of the iconic bowling film. Mention "Bowling Special" and you can get 1/2 off your lane all night. The event is 21 and over and guests are encouraged to dress in costumes.
The Big Lebowski is a 1998 indenpendent comedy crime film directed and co-written by Joel Coen with brother Ethan Coen serving as co-writer and producer. The film stars Jeff Bridges as "The Dude" a Los Angeles slacker and avid bowler. Lebowski "The Dude" is assaulted as a result of mistaken identity, then learns a millionaire also named Jefferey Lebowski was the intended victim. The film has many familiar faces in supporting roles: John Goodman, Steve Buscemi, Julianne Moore, John Tuturro, Phillip Seymour Hoffman and more.
Tickets for the event are $10 with a $4.39 service fee for general admission. Brooklyn Bowl is located at 61 Wythe Avenue Brooklyn, NY 11211. The venue is equal distance to the Bedford Avenue L stop and the Nassau G train stop.
