DCTV has been New York City's preeminent community of and for documentary storytellers since 1972. DCTV is a one-of-a-kind training facility offering skills to be up to date on the latest technology and techniques for independent filmmaking. They provide the space, gear, high end computers, software, professional production equipment and curriculum to apply the knowledge they provide.

The workshops are committed to a 2:1 student to camera ratio. If the course is discussion based, you will share ideas and get personalized feedback. You are asked to bring yourself and a notebook and pen if you like. Workshops are available on weeknights or weekends with consistently low prices and a central location in Chinatown/Tribeca.
