This new dress gave people the ability to feel well dressed and confident regardless of their shape and size. Never feeling like a victim of sexism in our culture, Diane Von Furstenberg took challenges like raising two children as a single woman, balancing a career and confronting cancer with equal parts passion and purpose. Her mission was to inspire women to pursue and design their lives with this part passion, part purpose mindset. She embraced femininity in a strong and profound way, leading a path for her daughter and the next generation of women to follow.
