On Saturday, June 29th, 2024 Queens will explore the rich filmmaking community in the borough with FILM FEST FUSION: THE QUEENS EDITION. The event will shine a spotlight on the filmmaking community and its film festivals. You will be able to meet representatives from Queens World Film Festival, Astoria Film Club, Hellenic Film Society, Festival of Cinema NYC, Queens Underground International Film Festival, Sunnyside Shorts International Film Festival, and Conch Shell International Film Festival.
The event is an opportunity to ask questions about their festivals, the role festivals play in the life of your film, and how all can work together to raise visibility of Queens as a film hub of the East coast. Learn, join the conversation and become a part of the community. Go to Kaufman Astoria Studios. After an 11am light brunch, the gathering will take place at the Zukor Theatre. From 12-1:30pm, a hosted panel and Q&A with open conversation will take place. Then at 1:30pm is time for mingling, taking pictures and networking. The event will wrap at 2pm.
